Qualche giorno fa il magazine XXL ha intervistato Paul Rosenberg, il manager di Eminem, su come Slim Shady sia cambiato negli ultimi 13 anni; da come dalll'Eminem dell'album The Silm Shady LP passando per Recovery si è arrivati al 'The Marshall Mathers LP 2' .
Tra le cose che Rosenber ha detto di Eminem:
' Marshall wears his heart on his sleeve when he raps, and you’re always gonna feel what he’s going through and talking about. I think that’s one of the things that makes people connect to him so much, is that they feel something when they connect to his music, and they can relate to his emotions, even though it may not be the exact circumstances you’re going through, you can always relate to [it].
'Marshall mette a nudo i suoi sentimenti quando fa rap, e la gente sente quello che sta passando e quello di cui sta parlando. Penso sia una delle cose che fa si che gente sia connessa con lui così tanto, sentono di essere connessi con la sua musica, e si relazionano alle sue emozioni, anche se in quel preciso momento non stanno attraversando per particolare tipo di circostanza'
